Who we are

CardioRisk Check (cardiorisk.eu) is a free, anonymous cardiovascular risk screening tool. It is operated as a public health education service. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

What data we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• • All answers you enter in the questionnaire are processed locally in your browser session only.
• • No answers, scores, or results are sent to any server.
• • No account is created. No email address is required.
• • No name, date of birth, or any identifying information is collected.

When your browser session ends, all data is permanently deleted from your device. We have no way to identify who used this tool.

Location data (Find Care page)

When you use the Find Care feature, your location (GPS coordinates or postcode) is sent to the Google Places API operated by Google LLC to find nearby healthcare providers. This data is not stored by CardioRisk Check. Google's privacy policy applies to this request. If you use postcode search, your postcode is also sent to the French government geocoding service (api-adresse.data.gouv.fr), which does not collect personal data.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use essential technical cookies required for the site to function (for example, to remember your language preference). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics tools that identify individual users.

If you have chosen to accept optional cookies, you can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on infrastructure provided by third-party providers. These providers may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and performance purposes, in accordance with their own privacy policies. No health or questionnaire data is shared with any third party.

Your rights (GDPR)
